Make sure you've always got plenty of fresh ice on hand with the Avantco Ice UC-H-210-A 26" air cooled undercounter half cube ice machine! Capable of producing up to 222 lb. of half cube ice per day, these larger footprint undercounters are great for meeting high production and capacity needs of busy restaurants, bars or cafes. This machine also comes with an 80 lb. bin to store a larger amount of ice once its made. For ease of maintenance, a built in diagnostic system will identify problems that your ice machine may be having and will display the issue on the digital controller so it can be repaired accordingly. This easy-to-use controller can also be used to monitor the current stage of ice production that your machine is in. It allows you to adjust the bridge thickness up or down to maximize your harvest into individual cubes of ice, rather than full sheets. It also initiates the cleaning cycle and displays what stage of the cycle you're in. Constructed of durable type 304 stainless steel with a polyethylene interior, this unit is built to last in the busiest commercial environments. A nickel plated evaporator and removable air filter make for quick and simple cleaning and maintenance. With 4 adjustable legs, you can level your machine on uneven surfaces and have plenty of room to clean under it. This ice machine also comes with pre-drilled holes on the back of the unit to mount your OceanLoch+ water filter to the machine to ensure you are serving the cleanest and freshest ice possible. Avantco Ice Machines

Having plenty of fresh ice on hand is a necessity for most food service establishments. The Avantco Ice line offers a variety of ice machine styles, sizes, and rates of ice production to accommodate your needs. With offerings in the compact sizes of fifteen or nineteen inch widths, and the standard twenty two, twenty six, and thirty inch widths, you will find a size suitable for your footprint. These units offer twenty four hour ice production ranging from seventy seven pounds per day, all the way up to five hundred pounds of ice per day!

Avantco Ice features modular and undercounter styles, making both half and full dice ice. This line also includes an undercounter model that creates the trendy bullet ice for a different look in your ice beverages. Blue LED lights illuminate the interior of the machine, providing a clear view of the ice inside the bin. This makes it easier to monitor ice levels and scoop out the ice. 

A bonus of Avantco Ice is the convenient pre-drilled holes on the back of the machines for a perfect fit of C-Pure's OceanLoch water filters! This ensures that the ice you serve is as clean, fresh, and pure as possible. 

All units boast easy-to-use controls. These allow you to adjust the ice bridge thickness, and check on the machine's current stage of ice production. The built-in diagnostic system helps identify problems your machine may be having. If a fault occurs, it displays the issue on your controller, and you can then refer to the manual for troubleshooting. Avantco: How to Clean Stainless Steel Ice Machines

Here’s some tips for how to clean the stainless steel on your Avantco ice machine. Only use soft cloths, microfiber, sponges, or plastic scouring pads to avoid scratching the surface. Clean with the polish lines by wiping parallel to the grain. 

Use the right cleaning chemicals, such as alkaline, alkaline chlorinated, or non-chloride chemicals. Noble Chemical offers Excel, a water-based aerosol cleaner and polish that won’t attract dirt, making it ideal for commercial kitchen equipment. 

Clean and disinfect the stainless steel on your ice machine using a sanitizer, like Noble’s QuikSan, which is a ready-to-use sanitizer that won't damage stainless steel. 

You’ll want to minimize the impact of hard water. Do not let hard water stand on your stainless steel surfaces for extended periods. By following these tips you’ll make sure your stainless steel is clean and shiny.

How to Clean an Avantco Undercounter Ice Machine

All cleaning and sanitizing chemicals used must be nickel-safe.  
  
Nobel Chemical offers Arctic ice machine cleaners and QuikSan sanitizers for all your cleaning and sanitizing needs.  
  
Before cleaning, please empty all ice from the bin, then turn on the unit.   
  
Press the "clean" button for three seconds to start the cleaning cycle.   
  
Now, mix a solution of cleaner and water according to your ice machine cleaner instructions. Put the proper amount of cleaning solution manually into the water trough.  
  
Press the "clean" button again.  
  
Meanwhile, spray the evaporator with the cleaning solution.   
  
The unit will auto-clean for fifteen minutes. The word "clean" will flash on the LED display when finished.   
  
Mix a solution of sanitizer and water according to your ice machine sanitizer instructions. Put the proper amount of sanitizing solution manually into the water trough.  
  
Press the "clean" button again. The unit will sanitize for fifteen minutes.   
  
Meanwhile, spray the evaporator with the sanitizing solution.   
  
The ice maker will go into five different rinse cycles for five minutes each. When finished, the unit will begin making ice. Please throw away the next five batches of ice before using.  
  
Turn off the ice machine and remove all ice from the bin.  Next, make sure that the power supply is unplugged. 
  
Empty the water from the tank. Remove the water curtain.   
  
Remove the pump, and pull out the upper pipe of the pump circulation.  
  
Remove the screws securing the spray pipe.  Remove the spray pipe and the upper pipe.  
  
Remove the fixed screws from the spray pipe, and dismantle it.  
  
Mix cleaning solution with water according to your ice machine cleaner instructions. Spray or soak the pulled-out parts. Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water. 
 
Spray the cleaning solution into the evaporator, and wipe clean.   
  
Mix the sanitizing solution with water according to your ice machine sanitizer instructions. 
  
Spray or soak the pulled-out parts. 
 
Spray the ice evaporator with the sanitizer solution.  
  
Allow the pulled-out parts to dry.  
  
Finally, install all the parts back in their original position. The cleaning and sanitation process is now complete.
